4. Write a paragraph describing the information of the following graph.
Answer: The above graph shows the total numbers of SSC candidates in the year 2013. A total of 316376 candidates participate in the exam. Among them 157435 candidates are male. So the female candidates are the highest in number with a total of 158941 students. Students of three groups- Science, Humanities and Business studies take part in the exam. Among these groups Business studies has the highest number of students including 83547 male and 66941 female candidates. A total of 94626 candidates from science groups take the exam of which 32276 are male and 62530 are female. In comparison to the other two groups, the science group has fewer candidates for the exam. This group comprises 71262 candidates of which 41612 are male and 29650 are female.

5. Look at the following graph. It shows different types of pastime activities of the students of Bangladesh from 1990 to 2010. Now, describe the graph.
Answer: The graph shows different types of pastime activities of the students of Bangladesh from 1990 to 2010. The target people of the survey were the students of Bangladesh. But the sample size was not defined. There were three variables taken to measure the pastime activities of the students of Bangladesh. These variables include watching, games and sports and online programme. Watching, games and sports and online programme cover 40%, 50% and 10% respectively in 1990. According to the statistics, games and sports are preferred most by the students while on line programme is preferred least by them as per data of 1990. On the other hand, watching, games and sports and online programme cover 48%, 40% and 15% respectively in 2000. The scenario changes in the year 2000. Watching is preferred most by the students and online programme is preferred least by them in this year. In 2010, the three parameters show different percentages with changes compared to the year 2000. In this year, watching, games and sports and online programmes cover 55%, 30% and 25% respectively. In this year too, watching is preferred most by the students and the least preferred pastime is on line programme. The graph shows that watching as a pastime is becoming more popular than the other two pastimes. And the popularity of games and sports is declining while the popularity of online programme is increasing but at a slow pace.
6. Look at the following bar graph/bar chart. It shows the numbers of mobile phone users among the people of Bangladesh in different years. Now, write a paragraph analyzing the chart.
Answer: The graph shows the numbers of mobile phone users among the people of Bangladesh in different years. Mobile has become a modern tool of communication nowadays. The number of mobile users is increasing day by day all over the world. Bangladesh is no exception in this case. The number of mobile users is increasing in Bangladesh. Mobile phones have become a revolution in our country. The graph shows that 30% of people used mobile phones in 2008. The figure changed in 2010 when 35% of people started to use mobile phones. That is, after two years 5% mobile users have increased. In 2011, 58% people started to use mobile phones. As a result, 23% mobile users increase. In 2012 75% of people started to use mobile. As a result 19% more people started using mobile compared to the year 2011. Last but not the least, 88% of people started to use mobile phones in 2013. Consequently 13% more people start to use mobile. We can summarize that in 2008 the percentage of mobile users was 30% whereas the percentage rose to 88% in 2013.It gives a clear idea that in Bangladesh the number of mobile users is increasing day by day.
