b) The significance of 31 gun salute on 26 March is great. This gun salute is organized to show respect to the brave freedom fighters of our country, especially the martyrs. It is a tradition in observing our Independence Day.
c) According to the text, people from all walks of life go to the National Mausoleum on this day to show profound respect to the martyrs of the War of Liberation.
d) Yes, I support the view that 26 March is a day of great significance in the history of Bangladesh. Because on this day, the independence of Bangladesh was declared and the country got involved in Liberation War. Finally, we achieved victory over the Pakistani occupation forces on 16 December and thus Bangladesh occupied a glorious place in the world map as an independent and sovereign country. Considering that, the day is regarded as the Independence Day which is also the biggest state festival of Bangladesh.
