They did not go to town in quest of any (c) -------. They are (d)------ in their respective field. They are happy with their village life. According to them, all educated (e) ---- should not look for jobs.
Answer: 2. a. Yes, I do agree with this statement, because to seek a job is not the only mission to have higher education. There are so many avenues through which one can flourish. An educated person has, of course, some obligations to his/her birthplace. And by creating self -employment, she/he can lead a peaceful life, can create job opportunities for rural people and can thereby repay the liability to the birthplace.
b. Mainul became a farmer out of a sense of obligation to the soil that has made him what he is. According to his belief, his working in his own farm, staying with his family members, passing time with his old friends and sleeping at his own home count a lot to him.
c. The three brothers of the Islam family are really great, because they never forgot their roots. They have not only stuck to their own roots, they have also been torchbearers for others to be respectful of their own roots.
d. The specialty of the Islam family is that in spite of their higher education and having ability to manage good jobs in the city, they did not leave their village. Rather, they are all living in the village and trying their best to develop it.
e. Mainul Islam wants to mean that by virtue of their higher education, they could manage good jobs in city and lead a comfortable city life. But they did not do so. Rather owing to their great love for and attachment to their village, they didn’t leave their village.
3. a. educated; b. love; c. job; d. renowned/famous/well known; e. people.
