নতুন শিক্ষাক্রমের মূল্যায়ন পদ্ধতি চূড়ান্ত করা হয়েছে। 

সোমবার (১ জুন) শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের সভাকক্ষে জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম সমন্বয় কমিটির (এনসিসিসি) সভায় মূল্যায়ন চূড়ান্ত করা হয়। 

তবে জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ডের (এনসিটিবি) তৈরি করা মূল্যায়ন পদ্ধতির কয়েকটি বিষয় সংশোধন সাপেক্ষে এই অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়। 

এ বিষয়ে এনসিটিবির চেয়ারম্যান (রুটিন দায়িত্ব) প্রফেসর মশিউজ্জামান খবরের কাগজকে বলেন, ‘মূল্যায়ন পদ্ধতি চূড়ান্ত করা হয়েছে। তবে কিছু ছোটখাটো বিষয় সংশোধনের জন্য বলা হয়েছে।’

তিনি আরও বলেন, নতুন শিক্ষাক্রমে পাবলিক পরীক্ষায় লিখিত অংশ থাকবে ৬৫ ভাগ (ওয়েটেজ) এবং কার্যক্রমভিত্তিক থাকবে ৩৫ ভাগ (ওয়েটেজ)।

সাত স্কেলে (প্রারম্ভিক, বিকাশমান, অনুসন্ধানী, সক্রিয়, অগ্রগামী, অর্জনমুখী ও অনন্য) মূল্যায়ন করা হবে। তবে এটিকে সহজবোধ্য করার জন্য গ্রেডিং সিস্টেমও থাকবে।

বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাবেক উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. লুৎফুল হাসান এবং ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বায়োকেমিস্ট্রি অ্যান্ড মলিকুলার বায়োলজি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. জেবা ইসলাম সেরাজকে ইউজিসির প্রফেসর হিসেবে নিয়োগ দিয়েছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরি কমিশন (ইউজিসি)। 

সোমবার (১ জুলাই) ইউজিসির সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। 

গতকাল রবিবার (৩০ জুন) কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যান (অতিরিক্ত দায়িত্ব) অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ আলমগীরের সভাপতিত্বে ‘ইউজিসি প্রফেসরশিপ’ নিয়োগ কমিটির সভায় সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়।

অধ্যাপক আলমগীর বলেন, “দেশের দুজন বিশিষ্ট গবেষককে ‘ইউজিসির প্রফেসর’ হিসেবে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা স্মার্ট কৃষি, বায়োকেমিস্ট্রি, মলিকুলার বায়োলজি, মাইক্রোবায়োলজি, ইমিউনোলজি ও জেনেটিকস বিষয়ে উচ্চতর গবেষণা পরিচালনা এবং দেশের প্রায়োগিক ও মৌলিক গবেষণায় অনন্য নজির স্থাপন করবেন বলে আশা করি।”

সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়, আগামী দুবছরের জন্য ‘ইউজিসি প্রফেসর’ হিসেবে এ দুজন বিশিষ্ট গবেষক দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন। যোগদানের তারিখ হতে তাদের মেয়াদকাল গণ্য হবে। ‘ইউজিসি প্রফেসরশিপ’ নিয়োগে শিক্ষা, গবেষণা, প্রকাশনা, জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে কর্ম-অভিজ্ঞতা, গবেষণা কাজে সংশ্লিষ্টতা ইত্যাদি বিষয় বিবেচনা করা হয়। ইউজিসি প্রফেসরশিপ নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী অবসরপ্রাপ্ত খ্যাতিমান শিক্ষক/গবেষকদের ‘ইউজিসি প্রফেসরশিপ’ প্রদান করা হয়। একজন সিলেকশন গ্রেড প্রাপ্ত প্রফেসর সর্বোচ্চ যে সুযোগ-সুবিধা পান ‘ইউজিসি প্রফেসরশিপ’রাও একই সুযোগ-সুবিধা প্রাপ্য হবেন।

Read the given text and answer the questions 1-4.
On 14 December, our class went on a field trip to the liberation war Museum at Agargaon, Dhaka. The trip was planned as part of our Bangladesh and Global Studies Course. Our bus reached the museum at 10 am. A guide was waiting for us. He welcomed us warmly and took us on a quick tour of the different galleries and exhibits of the museum. At first, we watched a video clip on our liberation war and our independence.

There were four permanent galleries that exhibited rare photographs, documents and newspaper clippings, and objects used by the freedom fighters and the martyrs of our liberation war. At Gallery 2 ‘Our Rights, Our Sacrifices’, our teacher read out to us the Declaration of independence by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Some other visitors also stopped and listened to it attentively. As we went inside Gallery 4 ‘Our Victory, Our Values’, we fell silent. We were sad as we looked at the personal belongings of some of our martyred intellectuals and freedom fighters- a pair of glasses, a pen, a notebook, a money bag, a shirt and other such things. We left the museum at 12.30. It was an experience we would never forget.

Bengali is our mother tongue, our state language and the language of our hearts. It is our fundamental duty to learn to write and read this language correctly. We should make efforts for the all-round development of this language. English is mostly used in the international level. We can’t be acquainted with the knowledge of science of the western world without the knowledge of English. We should learn English properly even for the development of our mother tongue.
